Strawberry Blonde

She sits and stares at the ice cream shop, twisting her hands in her lap as she impatiently waits for her date. "Why did he have to choose THIS park?" she mumbles, fighting the nagging craving for something cool and sweet.

She gets up from the bench, deciding a quick peek through the ice cream shop window would not hurt anybody.

She regrets her decision almost as soon as she makes it, her quick peek turning into a long, lustful stare.

She finally surrenders, her willpower gone after seeing her favorite flavor in the case.

She smiles at she eats her ice cream cone, thinking to herself it was wise to give in because now she'll eat less at dinner.
